Another Bonfire Night is over
The Royals can sleep safely in their beds again!! For another year
Guy Fawkes was truly celebrated last night!!

Racing home last night to try and park outside our house, as all the numpties drive their cars 200 yards etc, ‘cos they can not be arsed to walk!! And yes they clog up the residents parking….

(And reeeeellllaaaaxxx Inhale… Exhale…….)

You may know I’m from Yorkshire; I am “prudent” Ok TIGHT with money. The fireworks display is the rugby ground in front of the house, (so yep you guessed it, and we can see it from our window)
We will take Darcy next year, (Hey I could drive!)

( And rrreeeeellllaaaxxxxx Inhale… Exhale……)

Anyhoo, the local rotary club split the display in half, and usually accompanied by the noodling of Jean Michelle Jarre’s Equinox, we saw the first half from our window !

We did however venture onto the doorstep, and as Jayne mentioned on my previous blog de force, we wrapped Darcy in her hoodie, so to muffle the explosions, and she loved it, we were sure she would be frightened, but no, she was mesmerised by it all, (she clung on me a bit, and her heart raced a little) but she couldn’t take her eyes off the fireworks..
Tonight was a special moment, me Jayne and Darcy pops at our first bonfire night!!

Not even the display in the next valley could distract us from our little shin dig, The sky over the next valley, in the place we do not mention, was like in Lord of the Rings, is Minus Tirith, and Gandalf’s “ The whole world holds it’s breathe, before the battle of our time “ speech…..

Hhahaha sorry it was not that bad….

So thanks Guy, You still know how to put on a good show!!
